We are starting a new league for the women pool players of Jackson. These are the things I think will make it more fun and exciting than our past experiences:
- You can play everyone on your roster every night.
- Format of play and handicap system motivate players to play their very best every game.
- All players get money back at the end of the session.
- There is no handicap ceiling. You can stay with your team year after year.
- The pace is faster and two tables rolling most of the time.
Here is a quick run down of how it works:
- Each team has a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 8 players.
- Each match consists of 2 rounds.
- The same or different players can play second round.
- Each player plays every other player. They will play either 2, 3 or 4 games. Depending on handicaps. 2 low handicaps would play two games. Two high handicaps would play four games.
- The goal is to accumulate as many points as you can. You get points for winning games, points for making balls and points for shooting better than your average.
